The PrideFull Fest announces its 4th edition with 14 films centering LGBTQIA2S+ people of color and their stories. The festival runs from September 13-22, 2024, with in-person screenings from the 13th to the 15th in New York City and a virtual run from the 16th to the 22nd across the United States.

This year’s theme is Radical Hopes. These 14 films portray a range of hopes—to find love, to understand and fully accept themselves, to acknowledge grief and heal from losses, to dismantle capitalism and colonialism, to protect nature and earth, and to make a better place to live in. By showcasing these stories, PrideFull extends the message of collective radical hopes to our community at this difficult time.

PrideFull is excited to bring many new films to its audience this year, with 3 North American Premieres (Black Ibis, The Bus Driver, and Unex·text·ed Encounters), 1 US Premiere (Little One), and 2 NY Premieres (Kenya and Midnight Rising). The lineup includes features and shorts from all over the world—Canada, Colombia, India, Mexico, Myanmar, the Netherlands, Norway, the Philippines, Switzerland, the UK, and the USA.
