When is the PrideFull Fest 2024?The festival runs from September 13-22, 2024, with in-person screenings from the 13th to the 15th in New York City and a virtual run from the 16th to the 22nd across the United States.

Is the PrideFull Fest 2024 in-person or virtual?Both! Whether you are based in NYC or not, you could enjoy the PrideFull Fest 2024. Please note there are some films available only in theaters, or only for streaming. Check out each film page for more details.

How do I watch the films and Q&As virtually?Get your tickets or passes, and we'll send you the link. Look out for our emails! After the purchase, you will receive a confirmation email. If you purchase the ticket after the streaming opens, you will automatically receive another email with a virtual access code and link to watch the film in a few minutes. If you purchase it before the streaming opens, just wait until the streaming window opens, and you will receive the access code over email on the day of. Please note that some virtual films have pre-recorded Q&As which will be played after the film. For more details on the virtual streaming process, check out the "Virtual" section in the FAQs.

How do I attend the in-person screenings and Q&As?Get your tickets to the in-person screenings—or get the PrideFull passes! After the purchase, you will receive a confirmation email with the event details. On the day of the event, make sure you have your confirmation email ready and come to the venue in time. We open the doors 30 minutes before the event starts. We recommend you come early to have your seats and get your snacks and drinks. All in-person events will start exactly at the scheduled time. Do I have to be in the United States to watch the films virtually?Yes. All of the films are geo-blocked to the United States, so you'll need to be physically in the United States to be able to stream the films.

How accessible are the venues?All in-person screenings for the PrideFull Fest 2024 will take place at DCTV (located at 87 Lafayette St NYC 10013), 3rd Floor Studio or Firehouse: DCTV's Cinema for Documentary Films. The venue is wheelchair accessible and can accommodate wheelchair seating with companion seats. If you need wheelchair spaces and companion seats, please contact the PrideFull team at pridefullofficial@gmail.com after you purchase the tickets, and let the ticketing staff know upon your arrival. Do you provide an ASL interpretation?Yes, PrideFull provides ASL interpretation for the 9/14 and 9/15 screenings. Please note that the 9/13 event does not have post-screening Q&As and will not have an ASL interpreter. For any other accessibility accommodations, please contact us at pridefullofficial@gmail.com at your earliest convenience, and we will try our best to accommodate your needs. Due to budget constraints, the pre-recorded film Q&As won't have ASL interpretations. Closed Captioning will still be available. We sincerely apologize that we couldn't have ASL interpretations available for the pre-recorded Q&As this year, and we hope to bring them back for the next festival. Do you have all-gender bathrooms?Yes, the screening venues (DCTV 3rd Floor Studio and Firehouse: DCTV's Cinema for Documentary Films) have all-gender bathrooms.

What is your COVID-19 safety policy?While we’re excited to bring back the PrideFull Fest in person, we recognize that COVID-19 is still an ongoing reality. We encourage you to wear masks at in-person screenings. Dental masks will be available upon request. If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, new loss of taste or smell, or muscle aches and pains or chills, we kindly ask you to stay home. Please email us at pridefullofficial@gmail.com if this is the case, and we will send you a link to stream the film(s) so you can enjoy it from home. If you purchased a ticket to Asog, which is only available in person, and cannot attend the event because you're experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, email us at pridefullofficial@gmail.com before the showtime and we will issue a 100% refund. Thank you for your coordination to keep our community safe!

What is the admission and sales policy?Doors open 30 minutes before the scheduled showtime. To guarantee admission, we recommend all pass and ticket holders be present at the venue 5 minutes before the scheduled start time. PrideFull reserves the right to sell any empty seats after that time. Please note that entrance is not permitted 20 minutes after the start time of the event. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges unless noted otherwise. All rights reserved.

Can I bring food inside the venues?Outside food and drinks are NOT permitted. Snacks and drinks will be available to purchase at the venues.

What is streaming?Streaming simply refers to watching a program over your Internet connection, such as watching something on Netflix or YouTube, rather than downloading a video file to your computer. The program is immediate and available on demand with any device that is connected to the Internet.

What do I need to be able to watch the films virtually?You will need to be based in the United States, have a valid email address, a valid festival pass (PrideFull Pass or Virtual Pass) or a film ticket, and a device—a computer, mobile phone, or tablet. For additional technical requirements, please refer to the "Virtual: Technical" section of the FAQ page.

I purchased my ticket/pass. How do I stream a film?If you purchase the ticket after the streaming opens, you will automatically receive another email with a virtual access code and link to watch the film in a few minutes. If you purchase it before the streaming opens, just wait until the streaming opens, and you will receive the access code over email on the day of. The virtual access code email will come from the streaming platform Elevent at this email: donotreply@mail.goelevent.com. You can stream the film any time between streaming period. When you are ready to watch the films, open your virtual access code email and press "PLAY." Please note that films will be available for only 48 hours after pressing ‘Play’ for the first time. You can stream on your computer, mobile phone, or tablet. Currently, you may stream through the following web browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Opera. For both PC and Apple computers, we recommend that you use the latest version of your browser. Note: Internet Explorer is not supported with this platform. For full technical requirements, please refer to the "Virtual: Technical" section of the FAQ page.

When can I begin streaming?All virtual films are available to stream from 9/16 12:00AM EDT to 9/22 11:59PM EDT. Please note that, after you press "PLAY," you will only have a 48-hour window to watch it.

Can I stream a film more than once?Once you press ‘Play’ on your film, you will have 48 hours to view it or until the film’s availability window ends. You can start it and re-watch it within this 48-hour viewing window.

Can I download the films instead of streaming?No. Our streaming platform prevents downloading to protect the films. All films are only available for streaming.

I am receiving an error message about my IP address – what does it mean?For security reasons, you must view your program on the same Wi-Fi network or Internet connection. Once you start your stream in one location, you cannot continue viewing it in another location or on a different network. For example, if you start watching at home and try to restart at a friend’s house, you will receive this error message. You can use different devices in one location if they are using the same network. For example, if you start watching on a TV and switch to a tablet or laptop, they both need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Can I watch content on my iPhone/iPad?Yes, you can watch content using Safari on iOS 11.2 or later. Please note that you must have “Screen Mirroring” turned off for content to play, and you cannot use a lightning to HDMI adapter plugged into the device to watch on connected TV. To stop mirroring your iOS device, open Control Center, tap Screen Mirroring, then tap Stop Mirroring.

Can I watch content on my Android Device?Yes, you can watch content using Chrome on Android 6.0 or later.

Do I need to download an app to watch content?No, you do not need to download and install an app. You can access content directly online. If you bought a ticket then you will receive a 'virtual access' email one hour before the film or event becomes viewable. This email will include a direct link as well as a 9-digit voucher code, either of which can be used to access the content. If you bought a pass, you can log into the screening portal with your Elevent email and password at https://virtual.goelevent.com.

What happens if I forget my Elevent (streaming platform) password?Use the password reset option on the screening portal login page to reset your password here. You will need to have access to the e-mail address you created your account with.

Why does video playback stall or not play smoothly?The streaming platform Elevent uses adaptive bitrate streaming, which means the streaming quality will automatically adjust based on your internet speed. If your internet connection is weak or inconsistent, you may experience problems during playback. If you're on wifi, try moving closer to your router.

I have Roku. Is there an app I can download in order to watch content on my TV?*NOTE: Apple TV and Firestick Elevent App have been discontinued if downloaded prior they will no longer work. Yes. From your Roku (Roku 4 and above), search for the Elevent TV app, being sure to include the space between 'Elevent' and 'TV'. Once downloaded, and if you are a ticket holder, enter you 9-digit voucher code by selecting 'Enter Code' under 'Ticket Holders' on the left. If you're a pass holder, select 'Login with pass' under 'Pass Holders' on the right and you will then be prompted to go to https://virtual.goelevent.com/pair on a web browser and enter the alphanumeric pairing code now appearing on your TV. Once you've paired your devices you'll be able to access all of the content on your TV directly. Alternatively, you will be given the option to enter your Elevent email and password to login as a passholder to the Elevent TV app. From there you will be able to view content directly on your TV. Please make sure your devices have all the latest operating system updates installed.

Can I Chromecast the films?You can Chromecast from a Chrome web browser on PC and Mac computers as well as Android devices by selecting the cast button on the bottom right-hand side of the player. You cannot use Chromecast from an iOS device such as an iPhone or iPad. Can I AirPlay to my AppleTV?You can AirPlay from most browsers if you have Apple TV (Gen 2 and above) by selecting the cast button on the bottom right-hand side of the player. You can also AirPlay to a Smart TV bearing the "AirPlay" badge. Can I use an HDMI cable from my device to a TV to watch?Yes. Review your computer and TV documentation on how to connect your device with a standard HDMI cable. Using a lightning to HDMI adapter is NOT supported.

Do you sell a festival pass?Yes! We have two different passes: PrideFull Pass and Virtual Pass. You can purchase them here. The PrideFull Pass (Early Bird: $40, Regular: $54) gives you single access to ALL in-person screenings, virtual films, and Q&As for the PrideFull Fest 2024. The Virtual Pass (Early Bird: $16, Regular: $24) gives you single access to ALL virtual films and Q&As for the PrideFull Fest 2024. Please note the early bird sales end on August 21st, 2024.

Can I share my pass?No. Your pass (either PrideFull Pass or Virtual Pass) allows single access to the PrideFull Fest 2024 and is not shareable. For streaming, your pass only allows one view per film at a time. For in-person screenings, the attendee's name should match with the festival holder's name.

Can I share my film ticket?You can purchase tickets for other people, but the voucher code associated with your virtual ticket cannot be used more than once. A voucher code will unlock the film for streaming when the viewer enters the streaming site, and the viewer will have 48 hours to complete the film after pressing ‘PLAY’ for the first time.

I purchased my ticket/pass but have not received my ticket or confirmation email. What should I do?Your confirmation emails are sent automatically when an order has been made. Your virtual film tickets are also sent automatically when the streaming opens or within a few minutes of your ticket purchase, whichever is the latest. If you do not receive them within a few minutes, please check your junk or spam folders. If you need any more assistance, please contact us at pridefullofficial@gmail.com, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

What’s your refund policy?All pass and ticket purchases are final upon payment and non-refundable unless noted otherwise. Before you make the purchase, please read the FAQ page to make sure you can fully access and enjoy the festival. Make sure to you meet the technical requirements to virtually stream the films (see the "Virtual" section of the FAQ page). You must be in the United States to virtually stream the films. If you have any questions or uncertainty, please reach the PrideFull team at pridefullofficial@gmail.com before you make the purchase. All sales are final.

Can I buy a pass for someone else as a gift?Yes! Go to https://www.goelevent.com/PrideFull/Pass/Sale, and simply click the checkbox that says "This is a gift". Once you complete the checkout, you will receive a button, link, and gift code--you can give any of these to your intended recipient after purchase. In most cases, recipients claim their gifts online, registering an account in the process if they are new. If they haven't set up an Elevent account, they'll be prompted to set a password upon logging into the screening portal for the first time.
