Hitomi and Naho are high school girls in the rural town of Namegata, Japan, and they are in love. Hitomi fully supports Naho's dream of becoming a K-pop star in South Korea. One day, after an audition in Tokyo, Naho is accepted and chosen to go to Korea. Hitomi, who never imagined that Naho's dream would actually become a reality, finds it hard to cope with the sudden separation and starts collecting empty plastic bottles.

Director’s Statement
This film is a reflection of my memories with my girlfriends and my younger self. We never really got a chance to say a proper goodbye before we went our separate ways.
Director’s Bio
HONG Sunhye (she/her)
She was born in 1996 in Seoul, South Korea and now works as a screenwriter and director based in Japan. After starting her education at the Korea National University of Arts, she transferred to the Japan Institute of the Moving Image, where she majored in screenwriting and graduated. In 2022, she won the grand prize at the Scenario Award for New Writers organized by the JAPAN WRITERS GUILD for her feature film screenplay "Mountain Fuji is Watching Us."
