For queer people of color, the world is so often unaccommodating. Shorts: Queering the Dreamscape presents seven dreamlike films that explore and reimagine the worlds we live in, envisioning new possibilities. Telepathic Encounters and MY HEART IS GOING TO EXPLODE! portray the spellbound moment of building new queer relationships and connections. Meanwhile, The Last Goodbye and Farewell, Saranghae, Farewell capture the tenderness of queer breakups. Neo Nahda and Today I Ride the Subway demonstrate the journey of self-reflection and resistance against hegemony. Lastly, Clementine follows a trans woman discovering her womanhood through a magical imagination.
